- Right, we've proven - very convincingly - that the Amiga CAN do
- wolf/doom clones (there will soon be enough of them that they come out
- ours ears!)...
-
- .....but I can do nothing but cringe in shame when I try to play an MPEG
- on my Amiga.
-
- It CRAWLS when compared to a PC with the same CPU power.....why?
-
- why isnt any work being done on this anymore? amipeg seemed to be going
- somewhere, but it now seems to have halted..
-
- is it the chunky->planar problem still? if so, then why arent some of
- the new c2p algorithms being used??
-
- We have a machine that is CAPABLE of good applications, but those
- applications are being ignored... think, multimedia presentation with
- loads of MPEGs around (taking up much less space than CDXL's) - ie even
- MORE gfx can be used in presentations...
