  11. Right, we've proven - very convincingly - that the Amiga CAN do
  12. wolf/doom clones (there will soon be enough of them that they come out
  13. ours ears!)...

  15. .....but I can do nothing but cringe in shame when I try to play an MPEG
  16. on my Amiga.

  18. It CRAWLS when compared to a PC with the same CPU power.....why?

  20. why isnt any work being done on this anymore? amipeg seemed to be going
  21. somewhere, but it now seems to have halted..

  23. is it the chunky->planar problem still? if so, then why arent some of
  24. the new c2p algorithms being used??

  26. We have a machine that is CAPABLE of good applications, but those
  27. applications are being ignored... think, multimedia presentation with
  28. loads of MPEGs around (taking up much less space than CDXL's) - ie even
  29. MORE gfx can be used in presentations...
